Nepal: Thankful for answered prayers
“I met Ketan*, a 39-year-old father and husband, during a deeply painful time in his life. His young daughter had gone missing in a flood that swept through their area. For almost two weeks, he and his family were in agony, fearing the worst yet holding onto a sliver of hope. He was devastated but determined to find her, searching tirelessly every day. When he shared his story with me, my heart broke for him. Together, we prayed regularly, lifting his daughter up to God and asking for her safe return. I invited him to join our fellowship, where others could support him through prayer and encouragement. As the days passed, our prayers became a constant source of strength for Ketan, helping him hold onto hope even when things seemed darkest. Then, after almost two weeks, a miracle happened. His daughter was found safe! The joy and relief that filled Ketan’s heart was indescribable. Seeing her again, unharmed, was an answer to the prayers of many. Ketan’s faith was strengthened through this trial, he continues to attend fellowship with gratitude, knowing how God’s hand was with his family in their time of greatest need. He has accepted Jesus into his life and his wife and daughter have also come to the Lord.”
Bangladesh: Thankful for new believers in challenging times
“Firstly, I want to thank the Almighty Father for His abundant blessings in my life and my family. I went to a random family to talk, and they allowed us on their premises, and we shared from the Scripture and prayed for their needs. Seeing us, more people gathered around and expressed their prayer requests as well. There were roughly 20 people around us and we distributed Injils (gospels/New Testaments) to them. I also continued my work with the homeless people by sharing the gospel with them and praying for them. Recently, I started to share my beliefs with fellow bus passengers while I go to places and one day one guy reacted aggressively. Because I’m a woman, I was not physically harmed, but I was asked to get off the bus. I prayed for everyone on the bus after I left. In my neighborhood, I had a neighbor who was initially friendly, but our relationship turned negative when I approached her about the Gospel. When I visit the market, some people seem to think I’m there for religious reasons and thus keep monitoring my activities. Despite these challenges, there is a woman who has accepted the Gospel and is now waiting to be baptized.”Â
Myanmar: Thankful for support for ministry during the coup
“In the midst of hardships and difficulties, I was able to continue my ministry and I led some of the people to Christ. It is because of your help and prayers, so I want to say thank you so much for your continued help, without which we couldn’t accomplish what the Lord has called me to do. I praise the Lord because of the faithful donors. They are always in our daily prayers. The past six months, I have been facing persecution in my ministry. After the coup, more and more people are interested to learn more about the love of God. The Buddhist leaders hate missionaries like us. They don’t harm me physically but they are targeting me wherever I go. But the Lord is good to us and the more we face more persecution, the more we grow in the Lord. Blessed be the name of the Lord! During the past quarter, I met a man named Moe*. I happened to visit his house and I was able to share the love of God with him. I learned that his house was burned and he lost his brother when his village was attacked by a jet fighter. He was so sad and so disappointed. I drew him to the Word of God and the way of eternal life. He paid attention to my preaching and he came to understand the love of God in his life little by little. The Word of God is so powerful and he was so moved by the message that I shared with him. The Lord opened his heart and lastly, he confessed his sins and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. He started to join us at our church and is learning the Word of God with us. Praise God!”
India: Thankful for changed lives
“Our ministry has been blessed in so many ways over the past several months, and we are continually seeing God’s hand at work. While we face challenges, such as the need for a permanent church building and a vehicle for outreach, we remain committed to our mission of sharing the Gospel and serving the community. One of the most exciting developments has been the growth of our house churches. These smaller, intimate gatherings are creating deeper connections among believers and providing new opportunities for discipleship and evangelism. Through these house churches, many people have come to faith, and the fellowship within these groups has been inspiring. We are also witnessing significant transformation through our outreach programs, particularly in how they are meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of those in our community. From helping the homeless to supporting families in crisis, we have seen lives changed by the love of Christ. I am deeply grateful for the prayers and support we receive, as they have been vital to the growth and impact of our ministry. We continue to trust in God’s provision as we move forward in faith, knowing that He is leading us every step of the way.”Â
Bhutan: Thankful for a transformed family
“For years I’ve prayed tirelessly for my family’s salvation, and God has answered mightily. My mother, who is 50 years old, once distant from Christ, showed interest in knowing Jesus. I shared God’s love and Jesus’ purpose, and she joyfully received the message. She decided to follow Jesus, transforming our family’s spiritual landscape. This miracle surpasses my wildest dreams. My long-time prayers have been answered, and now my mother inspires other family members to seek Jesus. I thank God for answering all God’s people’s persistent prayers.”Â
Andaman: Thankful for ministry
“Many people have expressed gratitude for the personalized attention, spiritual guidance, and prayers for healing and deliverance. As part of the evangelistic outreach, over 1,000 tracts were distributed in local languages across various villages. The tracts shared the message of salvation and hope in Christ. Several people have shown interest in learning more about the gospel, and follow-up visits are being conducted regularly to nurture these relationships. Every Friday, the ministry has been holding fasting and prayer meetings. These prayer meetings have been a source of spiritual renewal, focusing on intercession for personal needs, the local community, and the nation. Many testimonies have emerged from these meetings, with believers reporting healings, breakthroughs, and answers to long-standing prayers. The medical ministry has been a significant component of the outreach program, focusing on the holistic well-being of the community. I and my team have actively prayed for the sick, offering spiritual and emotional comfort to those suffering from illness. Alongside medical assistance, the ministry distributed edible items such as rice, pulses, and cooking oil to sick families, ensuring their basic needs were met during recovery. This practical care has touched the lives of many, helping both physically and spiritually.”Â
Tibet Border: Thankful for growing faithÂ
“The past six months have been a journey of both trials and blessings here in Tibet. Despite the challenges and risks of sharing the Gospel, I continue to meet with small groups of women, offering Bible study, prayer, and support. My heart is with the women here, empowering them to find strength in faith amidst difficult circumstances. Beyond ministry, I’ve helped local families deal with landslides and soil erosion, assisting with repairs and providing encouragement. Though the opposition is strong, I’m grateful to see these women’s faith grow, and I trust God to guide and protect our mission here.”Â
