Genesis School: Update and Request

Harvest Bridge ·

The Genesis School, run by several of our Pakistani partners, is a vivid demonstration of Christ's love. Established to serve children from poor families without regard to religious affiliation, its Muslim, Hindu and Christian students learn together in harmony under the instruction of both Christian and Muslim teachers.

The school has shown its community that Christians love and serve those of other faiths, and seek to work together to achieve common goals.

Our Pakistan leader and the school's director, Samson*, recently sent this update and request.

On 24 March we had annual result of our school. I was working on a project so my wife Mahreen went to encourage teachers and kids. All the students have passed the level for next class.

Now the kids need new books and other school supplies. We urgently need help for the following things:

Books - 55 kids x $10 = $550

Uniform - 55 kids x $10 = $550

Shoes - 55 kids x $5 = $275

Bags - 55 kids x $5 = $275

Total = $1650

We have no funding available and our kids really need to continue study. Please contribute whatever you can. Thank you so much in advance.

Many blessings,

Samson*

In Pakistan, schools are required to provide uniforms, including shoes. Due to the students' low-income backgrounds, they cannot afford these - nor bags, nor the books required for their next grade levels.

Please consider helping the school expand its enrollment from 46 to 55 students, and provide necessary supplies for students to move up to their next grade levels, by donating to our General Pakistan Ministry fund. Gifts to this fund at this time will be directed to The Genesis School.

In addition, if you know of a Christian school, ministry or foundation that would be interested in sponsoring the school, please email us at info@harvestbridge.org. Thank you and God bless!
